Automotive Electronics PCBs

Automotive Electronics

Headlights, charging equipment, sensors, instrument panels, and control modules.

Engineering Considerations: Temperature fluctuations, vibration environments, current paths, and long-term reliability requirements. Specific testing specifications and traceability requirements must be clarified prior to submitting a quote.

Telecom PCB

Communications and Electronics

Wireless communication equipment, RF modules, routers and switches, and signal distribution units.

Engineering Considerations: Operating frequency, material dielectric constants, impedance, and layer consistency; evaluation of connection and shielding schemes in conjunction with structural analysis.

New Energy PCBs

New Energy

Energy storage management, photovoltaic inverters, power conversion, and charging and energy monitoring equipment.

Engineering Considerations: Current-carrying and heat dissipation paths, insulation clearances, the heat resistance of the substrate, and the mounting and connection requirements for power devices.

Medical Device PCBs

Medical Equipment

Monitoring equipment, diagnostic equipment, and instrument control and signal acquisition modules.

Engineering Focus: Signal integrity, cleanliness, traceability records, and testing requirements. Applicable product standards and the scope of validation will be determined on a project-by-project basis.

Data Communication PCB

Networks and Data Communications

Server peripherals, high-speed interconnects, optical modules, cybersecurity, and data processing equipment.

Design Considerations: High-speed signal loss, impedance control, via structures and interlayer connections, as well as the feasibility of mounting and connecting high-density components.

Consumer Electronics PCBs

Consumer Electronics and Smart Devices

Smart home devices, wearable devices, audio and video products, cameras, and portable devices.

Engineering Focus: Miniaturized layout, integration of hardware and software, and structural adaptation, while balancing physical dimensions, assembly efficiency, and mass production costs.

Translating Industry Needs into Manufacturing Capabilities

Materials and Layers

Discuss board materials and stack-ups based on frequency, operating temperature, impedance, and cost targets; alternative materials should first undergo performance and process evaluations.

Heat Dissipation and Structure

Determine the current, power devices, board thickness, and installation space, and evaluate whether the structure—such as copper thickness, metal substrate, or rigid-flex boards—is suitable for the project.

Testing and Quality Records

Before placing an order, verify compliance with inspection standards, conduct electrical testing, perform assembly and connection inspections, and review traceability documentation to avoid equating general manufacturing services with end-product certification.

From bare boards to assembly and interconnection, bridging all phases of the project

PCB Manufacturing

Based on the review of the design documents—including the number of layers, via structure, board material, copper thickness, and surface treatment—formulate executable manufacturing requirements.

PCBA Assembly

Using the BOM, coordinate files, and assembly drawings, communicate requirements regarding components, soldering, inspection, and delivery.

DFM/DFA Review

Identify manufacturing and assembly issues before production begins, and clarify which items require design verification or adjustments.

Before the review begins, please have the following information ready

The more complete the information is, the easier it will be to verify the technical scope, quotation terms, and delivery arrangements. Parameters that have not yet been finalized may also be submitted as items pending confirmation.

Applications and Environment
Product application, operating temperature, operating environment, project phase, and applicable standards.
PCB Files
Gerber files, drill files, outline drawings, layer stacks, impedance specifications, and special process instructions.
Installation and Connection Documentation
If you need a PCBA, please provide the BOM, coordinate files, assembly drawings, and test requirements.
Procurement and Delivery
Samples and batch quantities, target delivery dates, delivery locations, and documentation required to accompany the shipment.

Frequently Asked Questions About Industry Projects

Can I submit a request for an industry that isn't listed?

Yes. Industry classification is merely a starting point; whether we can take on the project depends on an evaluation of the actual design, manufacturing processes, testing, and delivery requirements. Please provide details on the product’s intended use and any existing documentation.

Once the industry has been selected, are there already established materials and processes in place?

There is no one-size-fits-all solution for the entire industry. Even for the same application, there may be differences in frequency, power, size, and cost; therefore, project requirements and the results of engineering verification should be the determining factors.

If industry certification or special reliability testing is required, how can I verify this?

When requesting a quote, please specify the required certifications, applicable standards, test items, and reporting requirements so that both parties can verify the scope of application and the information that can be provided. PCB or PCBA manufacturing services do not replace the certification and validation of the end product.

Turning Application Requirements into Clear Manufacturing Solutions

Submit the design documents and project requirements to Shenzhen Jingpeng Electronics, and work with them to confirm the review items for the PCB, components, and assembly processes.
