Electronic Component Procurement From BOM Verification to Complete Set of Materials
We coordinate component procurement and PCBA assembly requirements based on your project part numbers, quantities, and delivery schedule. First, we clarify the scope of procurement, substitution rules, and documentation requirements, and then confirm pricing and lead times.

Select a Procurement Method by Project
Complete BOM Procurement
We conduct model verification and provide quotes based on the approved BOM, which is suitable for projects that require centralized coordination of materials and assembly needs. Specific part numbers can be confirmed on a line-by-line basis.
Partial Procurement and Customer-Supplied Materials
The customer will provide the specified components, and Jingpeng will assist with the procurement of all other materials. Both parties must clearly define their respective bills of materials, quantities for contingencies, milestones for completeness, and procedures for handling excess materials.
Prototype and Production Requirements
We accept inquiries for both small-lot and bulk orders. Minimum order quantities, packaging quantities, and sample availability depend on the specific device and supply conditions.
Covers common components; confirm using the complete part number
Passive and Discrete Components
Resistors, capacitors, diodes, transistors, etc. In addition to the nominal values, please specify the package type, tolerance, rated voltage/power, and temperature requirements.
Integrated Circuits and Active Devices
Verify the manufacturer and complete part number, including suffixes, package type, temperature rating, and packaging format, to avoid purchasing based solely on the series name.
Connections and Electromechanical Components
Connectors, switches, relays, etc. Please verify the pitch, number of pins, orientation, mounting dimensions, and compatibility; provide drawings if necessary.
A BOM ready for review requires the following information
- Model and Brand
- Manufacturer, complete manufacturer part number (MPN), as well as package type and key specifications.
- Quantity and Part Number
- Quantity, part number, number of boards, and requirements for spares and replacements; please mark separately if not to be assembled.
- Versions and Attachments
- BOM versions, assembly drawings, and necessary data sheets; ensure that part numbers in the documents match the pin numbers.
- Substitute Material Rules
- Specify non-substitutable items, approved substitutes, and items requiring re-approval.
- Supply and Delivery
- Division of responsibilities for customer-supplied materials and procurement on behalf of the customer; target delivery dates, batch-by-batch requirements, and packaging requirements.
- Data and Verification
- If you require batch information, proof of origin, compliance documentation, or special inspections, please specify this in your request for quotation.
For special specifications or custom components, please provide complete technical requirements so that we can evaluate supply sources, development conditions, and procurement feasibility.
From Requirements to Complete Set: Confirm Key Milestones First
01 · BOM Verification and Clarification
Verify the manufacturer's part number, package type, quantity, and version; list any missing information, components not to be installed, and customer-supplied items.
02 · Quote and Change Confirmation
Confirm the terms of supply, quote validity period, and delivery date based on the part number. Any out-of-stock items, discontinued products, or suggested substitutes must be confirmed by the customer before implementation.
03 · Coordination Between Incoming Materials and Shipments
Verify materials and accompanying documentation as agreed, and coordinate batch deliveries or the delivery of complete PCBA sets; procedures for handling non-conforming materials are clearly defined in the project.
Quotations and delivery schedules must be determined based on supplier confirmation and the actual status of materials. The arrival time of materials and the PCBA production cycle are two separate milestones and should be scheduled independently.
Ensure that quality requirements are reflected in part numbers and documentation
Source and Lot Information
Confirm the source of procurement and the types of documentation that can be provided in accordance with the project agreement. Authorization relationships, batch certificates, and traceability information should be verified based on the documentation from the corresponding supply channels.
Approval of Substitute Materials
Verify the package, electrical characteristics, temperature rating, pinout, and application constraints; procurement matching does not replace design verification, and substitute parts may only be used after customer approval.
Inspection and Special Testing
Specify the items to be inspected upon receipt and the acceptance requirements. For tests involving temperature, vibration, radiation, or other specialized tests, the methods, samples, parties responsible for conducting the tests, and associated costs must be confirmed separately; these are not automatically included in the procurement services.
If you require a Declaration of Conformity for materials or product-related certification, please specify the corresponding part number and document requirements; management system certification cannot serve as a substitute for performance or conformity certification for individual devices.
Brand and Part Number Procurement Inquiries

Frequently Asked Questions About Procurement
If I don't have the full part number, can I request a quote anyway?
You can start by providing the existing BOM, specifications, and application requirements to help identify any missing information. The manufacturer, complete part numbers, and key specifications must still be confirmed before formal procurement.
Will a substitute material be used automatically when an item is out of stock?
Alternative options must be submitted to the customer for approval. The differences between the alternative materials and the validation requirements must be clearly specified; substitutions cannot be made solely based on similar names or identical packaging.
Can you provide a data sheet and samples?
We can assist in confirming the availability of documentation and samples based on the specific model. Sample quantities, prices, and delivery times are subject to the applicable terms of supply.
How can you verify the source and quality of components?
When requesting a quote, please specify the source, lot number, accompanying documentation, and inspection requirements so that both parties can confirm the certificates that can be provided and the scope of acceptance.
Can procurement and PCBA be scheduled together?
You may submit the BOM, production documents, customer bill of materials, and test requirements together to confirm material completeness and the assembly schedule separately.
